Fundraising support worker
Full time, working in our busy fundraising team. Salary up to £19000 per annum; suit ambitious graduate looking to start a career in fundraising: General support to our fundriasing work
Veterans support worker
Part time, two days a week, salary pro-rata to £22k; a caring, committed worker in Hope’s day centre to focus support on those who have served in the armed forces, both in the UK and those in other countries. Funded through the Veteran’s Foundation and in fulfilment of our aspirations under the Arned Forces Covenant.
Full time, up to £24k per annum. A warehouseperson and driver who will; help ensure the warehouse is well managed; collect and sort food; and deliver food to Hope’s pop-up shops, supporting volunteers and our customers. This roles requires ability to drive and physical strength to lift boxes, load and unload, allied to ability to show compassion and support to vulnerable people.
Consultancy/fixed term roles
A housing specialist who will help Hope prepare to provide residential services and supported housing, undertaking such processes as needed for Hope to become a registered social landlord and to liaise with the Council and landlords.
We anticipate this will involve not more than three months work at not more than 15 hrs a week. Please make an appointment to discuss this role with our CEO, and let us know a daily rate for the role that you would expect.
You will be an expert in community organising who over the space of a contract of 25 days supplied between now and March 31st, will organise up to 4 1-day introduction to community organising training courses and one advanced course, plus supply support to trainees post course to discuss their work and support their roles (this can be a mixture of distance and face to face meetings).

- Helping in our gardening project growing food for hungry people in need or maintaining the garden at the Hope Centre with service users
