With the weather predicted to fall between 1 and 5 degrees this coming weekend (Saturday 25th December 2023) we have been preparing for the safety of the homeless in the local area. With the support of West Northamptonshire Council (WNC), we will be open extended hours over the weekend with HandUp open both Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm ensuring access to additional warm clothing, essential items, warm drinks and a hot meal.
The Sunday service is being supported by Go Dharmic. The safety of people on the streets is our priority this weekend and we will continue to do everything we can to minimise risk to health. If you are concerned about someone you believe may be sleeping rough, you can inform StreetLink who can investigate further and identify local support services.
