Hope has so many fantastic friends and supporters who have been so kind in the last few weeks, up to Christmas and beyond, looking to help the homeless and excluded that Hope supports. We would like to thank you all so much for what you do.
However we are struggling under the sheer volume of things people have donated. As a result, at the present time there are some items that we just can’t accept any more of.
We can’t take in any:
– Sanitary products
– Bottles of toiletries (shampoo etc)
We still accept food but please check to see what we need at any specific time on our website (hint: we have got lots of pasta!). However please ring 01604214300 to organise delivery of larger quantities to our community food hub at Spencer/Kings Heath: small amounts will be taken in at the day centre at Oasis.
Please take clothes to our charity shop at 61 Abington St. We process there and clothes are then delivered back to people in need at the day centre or sold in the shop to raise money for our day centre. Please look at our website for the section on how we process clothes: don’t worry, there are loads available for our service users every day.
We can’t accept any donations at the John Smith centre at Ash St at present: we have to clear it all for use in groups and treatment for our service users.
Kep an eye on social media to see if this changes and we need to appeal for specific things – it does change.
Thanks for you co-operation – and again for the donations you make!
