Hand Up Stock Room Coordinator

Role Description

We’re pleased to share that the extended-hours service at Hand Up, alongside the Winter Night Shelter launched on 5 January, has been running very successfully and will continue through to mid‑March. With more guests accessing our services throughout the day, our team is working incredibly hard to meet the growing demand.

To keep everything running smoothly, we are urgently seeking additional behind‑the‑scenes volunteer support. The most pressing needs are:

• Sorting and organising the stock room
• Assisting with laundry

These roles are essential to ensuring our guests receive clean clothing, dignity, and the practical support they rely on. Please note that the tasks involved can be physically demanding.

We would be grateful for any time you can offer on any day from Monday to Sunday, between 9:30am and 4:00pm. Even a few hours of help makes a meaningful difference.
