Welcome to Ride for Hope 2026: Northampton to the Netherlands!
In 2026, we proudly celebrate 12 incredible years of the Ride for Hope, a journey that has already raised over £400,000 to support those facing homelessness, hunger, and hardship across Northamptonshire.
Next year, we invite riders to take on an unforgettable cross-country adventure from the UK to Europe, cycling from Northampton to the Netherlands.
Two Routes to Choose From
For 2026, riders can choose the challenge that suits them best:
• A shorter 3-day route of approximately 200 miles
• A longer 4-day route of approximately 375 miles
Both routes promise an inspiring, memorable experience – each mile helping us continue our vital work.
The Route: Northampton to the Netherlands
Riders will set off from Northampton, travelling across the English landscape to Harwich before boarding an overnight ferry to Rotterdam. Once in the Netherlands, the journey continues through scenic Dutch roads and significant historical locations.
As part of the route, riders will visit several important WWI and WWII sites, including areas connected to the Battle of Arnhem – bringing a meaningful military-heritage connection to the challenge. This resonates deeply with our mission, as the Hope Centre supports many individuals facing homelessness, including those who have previously served in the armed forces.
After completing the challenge, riders return to Rotterdam to sail back to Harwich and travel home.

The money raised from the challenge will support people facing homelessness and hardship. We have just announced another year of the winter night shelter which has successfully supported people rough-sleeping in the coldest months, feedback from residents last year, was overwhelming.
