Winter are our most challenging months. Can you give hope this Christmas?
As Christmas approaches we look forward to family gatherings, festive meals and wonderful gifts. However, for many of the people we support, simply surviving will be a challenge. This year, we need your help to help those who are struggling just to keep warm and safe this winter. Take part in our #SaveAPlaceforHope campaign to help us bridge the gap between those who have and those who have not.

Take the time this season to reflect on your holiday spending, whether its on a small chocolate treat, or on festive dinners or gifts – could you donate the equivalent to someone who would otherwise go without?
For example, if you plan to spend £20 on a new Christmas jumper, could you donate the same? Your £20 could help us keep 5 individuals warm with extra blankets. Consider the value of the gifts and items you are given and purchase for Christmas, and as a gesture of goodwill, donate the equivalent to help others not so fortunate.
Introducing the ‘Tree of Hope’.
We have created some beautiful posters this year to help you take part in our campaign. Whether you are in an office, church, school or member of a community group, we have a tree designed for you! Each tree raises funds and collects the specific items we need to support the people we help during winter and the festive season.
How It Works:
Use your tree to choose an item to donate, as you make your donation put your name or colour in a part of the tree. Pack your donations into a box and once your tree is ‘full’ or decorated, let us know and we will collect it and celebrate your achievement!
How You Can Get Involved:
One-Off Donations:
- Monetary Donations: Visit our Just Giving Campaign donation page to donate an amount that reflects your holiday spending. No value is too small!
- Regular Donation: Set up a regular donation of just £10 a month, at the end of the year this could help us provide up to 24 hot meals!
- Individual Items: download our Christmas Wish Lists for items we need this winter.

Businesses:
- Contact us for your office posters. Work as a team to fill the tree, every tree has the potential to fund a full day of service at our Homeless Centre while providing critical items for winter.
- Choose a donation amount, or select items from our wish list.
- Scan the QR code or visit our Just Giving page to make your donation.
- Once your tree is complete, let us know so we can celebrate your achievement!

Follow our social media channels for short videos showcasing our work. Use the hashtag #SaveAPlaceForHope to share your stories of giving and support, highlighting how we can all contribute to a brighter Christmas for those in need. Your monetary donations could help us purchase food in bulk, buy essential items, and ensure we are able to support people struggling this winter.
